Welcome to the St. Andrew's Society

of the River Plate

Founded on December 10, 1888, the San Andrés del Río de la Plata Association is one of Argentina's oldest and most prestigious social and cultural organizations. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to coordinating social, cultural, and sporting activities for the benefit of the community.

Our roots are deeply intertwined with the nation's history, dating back to the arrival of the first 220 Scottish settlers on the ship *Symmetry* in 1825. Following the legacy of our first president, Thomas Drysdale, and the pioneers of the Monte Grande settlement—the first official site of religious freedom in Argentina—we remain committed to preserving our Scottish heritage and serving the community.

We invite you to explore our mission, join our events, and become part of our history by supporting our vision for the future.
